No wireless charging though

The Airpods must be doing something right if we had two similar devices released this week from two different companies. Other than the realme Buds Air, we now have the Oppo Enco Free finally arriving in our local market for RM499. While that's a considerably high price, the Airpods still cost a lot more and I'm not talking about the Airpods Pro.

The Oppo Enco Free comes with a binaural simultaneous Bluetooth transmission to connect it to your mobile device the instance the carry case is opened. It also has dual-microphone and AI uplink noise cancellation to help with blocking out external sound when you have to make a call.

Overall, the Enco Free is stated to deliver 5 hours of music playback on a single charge and you can get up to 25 hours with the charging case. Unfortunately, it doesn't come with wireless charging but it does come with USB-C charging on the case.

Probably the most interesting factor is its tap and slide controls. Just slide the left earbud to adjust volume, while the right earbud is used to go back or skip to the next track.

You can get the device on Oppo’s online sales channels including Lazada and Shopee, as well as from their official retial stores. Colour options for the device only comes in black and white.
