Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets

Dane DeHaan and Cara Delevingne play a couple of space agents charged with maintaining order throughout the universe in this epic first trailer for the sci-fi saga. We’re thrilled to have director Luc Besson at the helm because if anyone can make an awesome space movie with heart, it’s this guy. Also, is anyone else getting some strong Guardians of the Galaxy vibes from this?

Iguana chased by snakes - Planet Earth II

In case you need another reminder of “damn nature, you scary”, here it is in the harrowing form of a baby iguana being hunted down by an army of snakes. This scene is from the opening episode of the long-awaited Planet Earth II documentary series, and it deserves all the awards. Can we also talk about that background music for a second? Oscar-worthy.

Superheroes react to Donald Trump Victory

While some might argue that the outcome of the US elections is no laughing matter, this video of superheroes reacting to the news is pretty damn funny. The parallels are so strong that they might as well have just put the Hydra logo behind Trump during his victory speech. And Captain American probably summed it up best for all of us with that line, “Okay, that’s enough.”

Mass Effect: Andromeda

Behold the brand new Andromeda trailer in all its glory. It features intense action, ominous dialogue and gorgeous graphics — basically everything we loved about the first three games and then some. The latest instalment will let you play as Ryder, the new protagonist who will have to guide a ragtag crew of characters through a brand new galaxy that’s bigger and more epic than anything we saw in the original trilogy.

The Whole Truth

Courtroom drama takes centre stage in this slow-burning thriller surrounding the mystery of a wealthy man found stabbed dead in his bedroom. On the one hand, we have his brooding son who has admitted to the murder, and on the other, his estranged wife who seems a bit unstable. Nothing is as it seems here, including the motivations of the lawyer embroiled in the case played by the immortal Keanu Reeves.
