Where do old phones go when they die? Not into SK Telecom’s trash, that’s for sure.

The South Korean telecom company thought of a more honourable end for those who have served us well, hooking up old devices (including a pager) from the last 30 years to a computer to mark their 30th anniversary.

The result? A symphony of start-up sounds that when put together in reasonable order, sounds better than a lot of today’s sorry excuses for music. Who would've thought?
