If you’re in some awkward remote spot in Malaysia that Grab just doesn’t have a named location for, take matters into your own hands and customise your own location.
Tap on either location bars, and tap the map icon on the bottom right-hand corner to pull the green pin to the exact spot on the map that you want. Grab will auto-suggest the name of the location for you and get transport to you, wherever you are.
5. Separate work and play
Anyone who files expenses for cab rides with their company knows that awkward moment where you visit the finance department with crumpled slips of paper at the end of the month.
Instead of dealing with individual receipts, start separating your personal from your business trips. You can do so by labelling rides under “Business”, either while waiting for the ride to arrive or in your history tab.
All business rides will be consolidated in the Grab Passenger Hub, where you can key in your company info and particulars, and even download a neat little spreadsheet that Finance will go crazy for.
6. Be a Social Rider
Want to keep your friends or colleagues updated on your trip and your ETA?
Send them your ride directly so they’ll stop asking you what time you’re going to arrive. You can do so through Facebook or Whatsapp, and they’ll be able to track their ride for you at every step.
