Rez Infinite is kind of an old-school game in a new era. None of the fancy smancy graphics are featured in this title that was in development since 2001. Instead, you see polygons and cubes, akin to being thrown into a digitised world much like the movie Tron.
But that's not to say that Rez Infinite isn't an interesting game. Rather, it's this old-school approach that makes you feel like you're in a totally different world, away from reality.
You can balance anything. At least, that's the premise of Tumble VR. The game challenges you to solve each stage using a set number of blocks. Stacking them up sounds boring but it's really nothing like that. You could either stack them to avoid it being hit by objects or even reflect the light in a specific direction to clear the task.
Be warned, there are so many block stacking permutations, you might find yourself stuck at certain stages for a while. With more than 80 stages to go, you'll need a lot of help, which you can get with a two-player co-operative mode.
Technically, the Playroom has already given PlayStation gamers a glimpse into what they can do with gestures and voice command. The Playroom VR taps deeper into virtual reality, now using your whole body as the controller. What's more, the in-house game developed by Sony is free to download, so you can try it first and see how VR is working out for you before you splurge on the abovementioned titles.
What's better than one VR game? Get five for one. Techincally, some of the titles in PlayStation VR Worlds are visual demos which we have seen during GameStart 2015. One of which is Into The Deep which places you in an underwater cage and see a shark tearing it apart.
Other titles included are The London Heist, which in all honesty, really throws you into the deep end, constantly moving your head and grabbing for more ammo to reload while bullets fly by you.
New titles that will tickle your fancy such as VR Luge, where you're required to move and dodge cars while you race down the slope. You'll also have to use your head to strike and spin balls in Danger Ball and fly in space and scavenge for objects in Scavenger's Odyssey
