3) To boldly go where no Transformer has gone before
While we’re on the voices of the Transformers, we’d be remiss to forget Leonard Nimoy of Star Trek fame.
Taking a break between the Star Trek movies, Leonard Nimoy shed Spock’s pointy ears and pointier eyebrows and lent his voice to the 1986 Transformers animated movie, playing Galvatron, the new leader of the Decepticons.
Then in 2011 he rejoined the franchise to voice Sentinel Prime in Transformers: Dark of the Moon, while taking a break between the rebooted Star Trek movies - where he played Spock Prime. To boldly do… what he had done before? There’s no doubt that Leonard Nimoy’s the most enduring success story from the original Star Trek cast - easily beating out William Shatner’s latter attempts at self-parody. Ha! Take that captain manwhore!
