GoPro has revealed an all-new action cam which offers wireless shooting powers at a more reasonable budget.
The US$200 Hero+ falls in between the lower model Hero and the Hero+ LCD, and offers Wi-Fi and Bluetooth functionality too, letting you use a smartphone to frame shots, tweak settings and share content.
It can also record 1080p footage at 60fps (a bump up from 30fps on the standard model), and the camera gets a boost from 5MP to 8MP. It won’t, however, offer an LCD touchscreen or capture slow motion motion footage.
GoPro is also cutting the price down on the miniature Hero4 Session down to US$300 in another effort to tempt action photographers in the run up to Christmas.
The new Hero+ will hit shelves on 4 October, just in time for the festive holidays we reckon.
