You no longer need worry about the Samsung Galaxy S6's fixed battery

Well, the lack of removable battery was keeping us awake at night

We'll admit it: we were a little upset when Samsung announced the S6 and S6 Edge wouldn't have a removable rear panel, because it meant you could no longer change the battery.

What's more, the battery in both phones has a lesser power rating than the one in the S5. So, what happens when you run out of battery, can't find a wireless charging spot, or don't have access to an AC adapter? That's where Mophie comes in.

A full charge extra

Mophie is no stranger to producing battery power cases, and the ones for the S6 and S6 Edge add an extra 3300mAh, enough for more than one full charge of either device.

The cases also benefit from Mophie's proprietary Impact Isolation System that aims to protect the phone from drops. They also feature a pass-through switch and mute button.

You can sign up to be notified when the Mophie Juice Packs are available from Mophie's website. They're expected to cost US$99.95 when they go on sale.
