ASUS announced a new range of motherboards based on the latest B550 chipsets.

The AMD B550 motherboards enable 20 general-purpose PCIe 4.0 lanes from 3rd Gen AMD Ryzen desktop processors, and the primary PCIe slots offer 16 lanes of PCIe 4.0 connectivity. Other features include a robust power delivery, increased DRAM speeds and enhanced BIOS flashing and flashback. The boards are aimed towards those looking to either upgrade their mean machines or build a new one, be it high-end gaming or productivity rigs.

Highlights on the boards include 2.5Gbps Ethernet ports, Intel Wi-Fi 6, USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C and PCIe 4.0 M.2. And for gamers, the new AI noise-cancelling mic tech will probably make those online colleagues hear you better.
