Photography nuts, Fuji has just updated its mirrorless camera range

APS-C sensors and a compact package make ‘em pretty appealing

They’re compact. They’re fast. Yup, mirrorless cameras are the bees’ knees. So hold off on that DSLR purchase till you check out Fuji’s new X-Series range

Yeah, we know you’re lusting after a new DSLR. But we’re living in the 21st century here, so why not check out a mirrorless camera before you pull the trigger on that new purchase? After all, DSLRs can get bulky and, frankly, when you’re looking at the amateur-to-midrange end of things, most of us would be better served with a good mirrorless cam.

Fuji’s X-Series has been quite the star (the X-T10 occupies the top spot in our System Camera rankings). So what new gear does Fuji have for us? There’s the X-T10, for starters, along with the X70, X100T, XA2, XE2S and XPro2.

Say ‘cheese’

The X-T10 (̥₹69,999) has a 16MP APS-C X-Trans CMOS II sensor, EXR Processor II, a hi-def ‘real-time’ viewfinder with a 0.005s response time, Wi-Fi, Intelligent Hybrid AF, Film Simulation and up to 8fps shooting.

The X70 (₹61,999) premium compact has an 18.5mm f/2.8 lens; the X100T (₹1,15,999)  features an electronic rangefinder, Classic Chrome film simulation and a 23mm f/2 lens.

The X-A2 (₹48,499) is a compact interchangeable lens camera with Eye Detection AF and a 16-50mm f/3.5-f/5.6 OIS II kit lens; the X-E2S rangefinder (₹61,999) also uses the new ‘real time’ viewfinder; and finally, there’s the X-PRO2 (₹1,47,999) with its 24MP X-Trans III sensor, Hybrid Multi Viewfinder and 77-point AF.
