Carmaker MG (Morris Garages) Motor India wants to tap customers in their comfort zone.
A customer does not need to hunt for the showroom anymore – MG will take the showroom to him. MG Experience on Wheels is a mobile showroom built around a 45-feet trailer and aims to highlight India’s first internet car, the Hector. The motive is to further its customer engagement across India, especially where its showrooms are not yet present.
The mobile showroom will undertake a pan-India tour with a focus on tier 2 and 3 markets starting December 5. The showroom also displays the brand’s British heritage with focus on digital-led experiences. It consists of an interactive digital terminal through which visitors can experience the HECTOR, choose its accessories and configure the car as well. Automotive Retail 2.0 leverages digital tools to deliver engaging, immersive and differentiated experiences to its customers, which will help further expand their reach to remote areas around the country.
