Living on the fast lane? Zopo reckons you need its new Speed 7

A 5in, Full HD screen and expandable storage equals a nicely specced handset you could use with one hand

Not all of us like massive phablets. But there really isn’t much choice if you’re finicky about specs. Thankfully though, Zopo’s paired the 5in, Full HD screen of the Speed 7 with 3GB RAM, an octa-core processor and a lightweight skin.

Phablet haters, your prayers might have been answered – there’s a new 5in handset that doesn’t skimp on the spec front. So what’s so, er, speedy about the Speed 7? There’s a 64-bit Mediatek processor (MT6753) paired with 3GB RAM, which should certainly help with multitasking. Smartphone shutterbugs, you get a 13.2MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera with a ‘beautification’ mode that means you might just appear human in any painting-the-town-red-on-a-Saturday selfies you take. Then there’s the 2500mAh battery, 16GB storage (expandable up to 64GB), 4G and dual SIM. As for the OS, it’s Android Lollipop 5.1, with Zopo’s Z-UI skin on top – but we’re very glad it’s a lightweight, near-stock experience, of course, with the addition of features like gesture-based app launch.

The Zopo Speed 7 will be available exclusively on Snapdeal for 12,999.
