LeEco launches Supertainment with the new Le 1s (Eco)

Entertainment is passé. The Le 1S (Eco) launches at an introductory ₹9999 with a year’s membership to its OTA Le Ecosystem

Heralding what LeEco considers as Supertainment, this tuesday, LeEco unleashed a double whammy of sorts by launching its OTA platform, known as its ecosystem membership program along with the latest ‘Made for India’ smartphone, the Le 1s (Eco).

LeEco's smorgasboard of content, wherever you go!

The Ecosystem membership program will be available on all LeEco smartphones for the moment and will be a standard on all the 1s (Eco). So what is this Membership program you ask? Well, LeEco has partnered with prominent OTA (Over The Air) content providers like Eros, Yupp TV, and Hungama to provide content that can be streamed and viewed directly onto your 1s (Eco) device.

At the moment, members can view news in English and other regional languages via ‘Live’, which is part of the platform and powered by Yupp TV. With the Eros Now-powered ‘Le Vidi’, members can watch a host of Indian movies while Hungama- powered ‘LeEco Music’ will allow music lovers to take their music on-the-go and access music anywhere, anytime (the music service will be available from the third quarter of 2016). You can choose from over 2000+ movies, news channels or even witness concerts across the world live, all on one handy device. Besides content, the membership program also offers cloud storage to the tune of up to 5TB along with other services.
