One of the first smartphones in India to receive the Snapdragon 865 processor, the iQoo 3 had a lot going for it even before the company tried to sweeten the deal.
First up was the price drop announced by the company a few days ago, a mere two months after the launch of the product. The iQoo 3 saw a drop of ₹4,000 on its 8GB RAM variants while the 12GB RAM variant saw a price drop of ₹2,000.
On top of the more alluring price tag, iQoo also tweeted about the software updates in store for the iQoo 3, claiming 2 major Android updates over and above the regular security and OTA updates for the next 3 years.
We can only assume that the “2 major Android updates” mean Android 11 and Android 12. What this means is that users can now buy the iQoo 3 without worrying about its longevity, as the brand is promising to keep it up to date in terms of software for the next 3 years at least. And with the flagship-grade hardware in the device, we are pretty sure it’ll remain buttery smooth for a long time.
