Honor unveils a plethora of new lifestyle products

Laptops, tablets, routers, vacuum cleaners and more

Honor took to stage in China and unveiled a whole lot of lifestyle-based products especially aimed for the youth. The offering contained two variants of Honor MagicBook Pro laptops, a Honor ViewPad 6 tablet, the Honor Router 3, the Honor Vision X1 Series smart televisions and a suite of Honor Choice smart home devices.

The Honor MagicBook Series is designed for young professionals and students and is based out of Intel’s Core i5 and i7 processors with 16GB or RAM and 512GB of SSD storage and Nvidia’s GeForce MX350 graphics on a 16.1n display panel. Prices are RMB 5999 and RMB 6699 respectively.

The Honor ViewPad 6 boasts of a Kirin 985 5G SoC and supports Wi-Fi 6+ connectivity. Based on a 2K 10in display panel, the ViewPad 6 claims lag-free performance for both work and play. Compatible with the Honor Magic-Pencil, this one could give Apple’s iPad Pro a  run for its money in the Android space.

Honor also unveiled a new Wi-Fi 6+ router that runs on Gigahome Dual-core 1.2 GHz CPU and can connect up to 128 devices simultaneously, making it ideal for home, office and IoT devices. With a promise of data throughput speeds of up to 3000Mbps. The Honor Router 3 is priced at RMB 219.

Honor also upgraded its smart TV platform with two new 55in and 65in 4K Vision X1 Series TVs that are capable of internal decoding up to 8K videos with no stress and additional power saving features. Price for the 65in is RMB 3299 and the 55in is RMB 2299. 

The TWS Earbuds X1 promises impeccable audio experience with up to a 24-hour battery life, and priced at RMB 169.

Honor’s Smart Vacuum Cleaner is powered by a 350W motor that spins at 10,000rpm on a 65min battery with an ultraviolet-sterilisation cleansing system, in complete quiet mode. Honor also announced a smart Desk Lamp, an Electronic Toothbrush and a Smart Kettle on stage.

All products were announced in China and Honor has also stated that the products will soon be launched and available in the international market, including India.
