Havells’ new water purifier saves water, looks good while it’s at it

And using it is as simple as drinking a glass of water

In the midst of a crisis, it indeed makes sense to invest in a water purifier, if you haven’t already.

However, there are just a few that actually save water while purifying it, as most purifiers only retain 30% of the source water after getting it purified. Havells has come up with a new Delite Alkaline range of water purifiers that basically get you alkaline water and also help you get more drinking water from your source. Priced at ₹24,499 for the base model and ₹25,499 for the High Recovery model, the top end model – available in an elegant beige and white finish – lets you save a claimed 50% of water from the source.

Havells pulls this off by using 8 stages in the water purification process to deliver alkaline water with pH 8 to 10 and restructures water molecules for improved hydration and mineral absorption. Didn’t get that? Well, in short it means cleaner and more usable water. It comes with other features such as iProtect purification monitoring that cuts off water if it is no longer safe to drink and a UV LED lamp in its high-quality food-grade stainless steel tank.

The purifier also has a cool-looking jog dial styled knob that you turn to dispense water. So, technically, all you have to do is turn the knob to get pure drinking water.
