Track days at Bengaluru, Delhi, Chennai and Aamby Valley could be your chance to live out your petrolhead fantasies.
If you live and breathe cars and your vocabulary consists almost entirely of words like ‘powerslide’ and ‘oversteer’, you might want to check out BMW’s M Performance Training programme.
To be held in Bengaluru (31 July), Delhi (24-25 August), Chennai (21-22 September) and Aamby Valley (19-20 October), these track days will have BMW-certified instructors on hand to teach you how to deal with high-speed cornering, straights and changes in elevation. (No word on whether burnouts and donuts are on the menu, but we really doubt it.)
Participants will get to hone their skills (driving skills only - any ‘I drove an M5 on a racetrack’ swagger is solely your own responsibility) in BMW’s M-models - the M3, the M4 Coupe, the M5, the M6 Gran Coupe, the X5 M and the X6 M - under the watchful eye of BMW’s experts. And don’t worry if your driving abilities leave much to be desired - you might wash out like a vertiginous fighter pilot but you’ll probably get the coolest Facebook profile photo on the block.
So what are you waiting for? Hop over to bmwmexperience.in to register for your chance to drive some insane cars on a racetrack.
