In these times of social distancing, the new Garmin Forerunner 55 comes as a virtual trainer to help beginners improve how they run. The smartwatch comes with built-in GPS to track the distance and time of your run, as well as a heart-rate monitor. It can also track your steps, burnt calories, sleep cycle, and other exercises like HIIT, swimming, Pilates, and more. The Forerunner uses all this data to tailor instructions that Garmin believes can improve your performance. It even has an on-screen Garmin coach to plan your training. The battery backup is claimed to be two weeks in normal mode, and up to 20 hours with GPS on. The Garmin Forerunner 55 is priced at ₹20,990, and is available via the company’s brand stores, and e-commerce websites.
