As the unofficial saviour of the pixel, Samsung is ensuring it packs in more of them in every screen – and for 2020, it’s making 8K resolution even more commercial. With an incredible screen-to-body ratio of 99%, the QLED range also comes with cutting edge sound tech like Q-Symphony, Active Voice Amplifier and Object Tracking Sound+, all of which is wrapped in screen sizes from 65 to 85 inches and in prices starting form 9.99 lakh all the way to 15.79 lakh for the monstrous 85in model. Samsung also followed the QLED range with its lifestyle range of Serif televisions, designed to look like the letter ‘I’ in a serif font. The result of a collaboration between Samsung and the acclaimed Parisian design duo Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec, the Serif is also the only TV that comes with built-in NFC for easier media and data sharing between devices. The Serif will come in three sizes – 43in, 49in and 55in, for 83,900, 1,16,900 and 1,48,900, respectively. On Amazon, The Serif will be available at a special price for the first 10 days, from July 08 to July 17 while pre-booking the Samsung QLED 8K TV between July 1 and July 10, 2020, consumers will get two Galaxy S20 Plus smartphones with their bright and shiny new tellys!
