Samsung makes 8K more real than ever
As the unofficial saviour of the pixel, Samsung is ensuring it packs in more of them in every screen – and for 2020, it’s making 8K resolution even more commercial. With an incredible screen-to-body ratio of 99%, the QLED range also comes with cutting edge sound tech like Q-Symphony, Active Voice Amplifier and Object Tracking Sound+, all of which is wrapped in screen sizes from 65 to 85 inches and in prices starting form ₹9.99 lakh all the way to ₹15.79 lakh for the monstrous 85in model. Samsung also followed the QLED range with its lifestyle range of Serif televisions, designed to look like the letter ‘I’ in a serif font. The result of a collaboration between Samsung and the acclaimed Parisian design duo Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec, the Serif is also the only TV that comes with built-in NFC for easier media and data sharing between devices. The Serif will come in three sizes – 43in, 49in and 55in, for ₹83,900, ₹1,16,900 and ₹1,48,900, respectively. On Amazon, The Serif will be available at a special price for the first 10 days, from July 08 to July 17 while pre-booking the Samsung QLED 8K TV between July 1 and July 10, 2020, consumers will get two Galaxy S20 Plus smartphones with their bright and shiny new tellys!
