After rocking the budget segment for televisions and smartphones, Mi has finally decided to scratch the itch that many of us have been waiting for - top spec’d premium features with pricing big enough to give an average Indian consumer a meltdown. This 75in behemoth costs a wallet-spanking ₹1,19,999 and in return, you get 4K HDR with a 120Hz refresh rate over HDMI 2.1. Needless to say, your latest consoles and Netflix 4K subscriptions will be put to full use here but that’s not all. Xiaomi says the Reality Flow 120 MEMC will make content and videogames run silky smooth and the Quantum Dot display also has full-array local dimming tech with 192 zones and a 10,000:1 contrast ratio. All these numbers mean that you are promised deeper blacks and popping colours. Not to mention the Mi QLED TV also checks the long list of HDR formats such as Dolby Vision, HDR10+, HDR10 and Hybrid Log-Gamma (HLG). That 75in also houses a 1litre (combined) speaker cavity. A pair of 30W speakers enabled by 6 drivers support Dolby Audio and DTS-HD (2 tweeters, 2 full-range drivers and 2 woofers to do the job). And also, it checks the long list of smart features such as Android 10 and build-in Chromecast among other stuff. It’ll go on sale from 27th April on Flipkart, Mi website and Mi Home stores.
