The Surface Pro has convinced our Web Editor to shift from his trusty ol’ MacBook Air to a Windows machine and now the Surface Laptop is here to baptise more geeks into Windows loyalists. Drowning them in a long battery life? Microsoft says this Windows 10S-powered machine can hold its bearing for about 14.5hours. The Surface Laptop is the forebearer of the famed Alcantara finish palm rest and aluminium-cladded angular structure. The innards for the starting variant piece together an Intel i5 processor with 8GB RAM and 128GB SSD for ₹86,999. You can even go bonkers and splash a good ₹2,33,999 for the top-specced variant sporting an Intel i7 processor with 16GB RAM and 1TB SSD. However, if your budget falls anywhere in between, Windows has got you covered for that as well. All the processors in the five available variants are 7th Gen and the whole package weighs 1.25kgs. Currently it's only available in the Platinum colour shade and Windows has told us that the Burgundy and Cobalt Blue might be on their way depending on the market response. So, join us on Twitter as we demand equal rights for all colours and bring the sexy Burgundy finish on the face of the Indian surface. (Not sorry).
