How much is too much?

While technology is shrinking by the year, it’s still interesting to see how much tech can be squeezed into a smaller space, because smaller (especially when it comes to gadgets) is usually better. Storage specialist SanDisk showcased a new portable drive that is a PC guy’s wet dream. It’s a palm-sized portable SSD that crams in 8TB of storage space. Yes, that’s 8TB in SSD form, which means it's not just high capacity, but also fast (20GBps). It’s still a prototype, which means it’s not on sale (yet), but SanDisk has another product that will go on sale soon. It’s the 1TB SanDisk Ultra Dual Drive Luxe USB Type-C flash drive, which was first showcased at CES 2018. If you’re the type who needs to transfer and carry a lot of data around, this should be the perfect tool that fits into your work ecosystem. Just that it will be available by the end of the year and will cost a bomb at $249 for the 1TB model.
