Starting 22nd July, Asus’ new range of Chromebooks will solve your child’s smartphone addiction. Starting at a cool ₹17,999, the Chromebooks are as inexpensive as budget smartphones and serve as an upgrade for your sapling to attend Zoom classes on a bigger screen attached to a functional keyboard and touchpad. Some models like the C423 (₹23,999) and C523 (₹24,999) come with a touchscreen and FullHD displays. All of the Chromebooks come with Chrome OS which is essentially Android and you have access to the many Google Play Store apps. With 4GB RAM and 64GB storage, it’s best used for school work and not PUBG. Although, if your child finds the lack of PUBG distressing and might kiss their knuckles to the lappy, the C214 comes with military-grade durability certification and a spill and tamper-resistant keyboard. The Flipkart website is where you’ll find all of the Chromebook models from Asus.
