It might no longer be enough for gaming laptops to be extremely powerful. They need to be light enough to carry around without the help of a JCB; or so Alienware thinks. This explains why the Dell sub-brand launched two new gaming laptops that are touted as the slimmest in their segment. The Alienware X15 and X17 feature 15.6in and 17.3in displays with up to 1440p resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood are 11th Gen Intel Core H-series mobile processors paired with Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 GPU and up to 64GB RAM and 4TB storage. To ensure the laptops don’t burn up in the heat of a virtual battle, Alienware is using proprietary Cryo-Tech, a proprietary gallium-silicon liquid metal, and AI-powered smart fans. Lightweight may be the underlying theme here, but these laptops are anything but when it comes to their price tags. Prices for the Alienware X15 start from $1,999.99 (approximately ₹1,45,800), and $2,099.99 (approximately ₹1,53,100) for the X17. The laptops go on sale in the US on June 15, but there is no word on the India prices or availability.
