We have been seeing those megapixel counts on smartphones go up lately, and while that’s good for buyers (and for business), it usually does not add up when it comes to clearer-looking selfies. However, Oppo claims it’s cracked the formulas and will make you look better (if not get you clearer selfies). With the new Reno3 Pro, Oppo went with a massive 44MP front camera sensor that’s also coupled with a 2MP depth sensor. This is a massive jump over the current set of camera sensors in most smartphones, which in theory will give you better looking selfies in all types of lighting conditions. There’s a 64MP(wide) + 13MP(tele) + 8MP(ultra-wide) + 2MP(depth) camera setup at the back to handle regular camera duties along with a MediaTek P95 paired with 8GB RAM and 128/256GB of internal storage. This power-packed smartphone goes on sale in India from 6th March and is available for pre-order from ₹29,990 onwards.
