If you thought that ugly notch could only be hidden away, wait till you check out LG’s new W-series smartphones.

LG seems to be eyeing the budget space and is probably all out to contest Xiaomi at their own game. The brand showcased their three new smartphones that cater to the budget segment and have a new feature where users can either hide the notch or have a ‘U’ or ‘V’ style notch. The W-series also feature AI-enabled dual cameras on the W10 and a triple camera setup on the W30 and W30Pro. The phones sport 3/4GB RAM and 32/64GB storage options and will run Android P right out of the box. While the W10 and W30 are powered by a Mediatek Helio P22 processor, the W30 Pro will use a Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 SoC. As for the cameras, the W10 have 8MP, while both the W30 models will have a 16MP for selfie lovers. The rear cameras will feature 13MP+5MP, 12Mp+13MP+2MP and 13MP+5MP+8MP sensors respectively. Lastly, the W-series offer HD+ display panels panning 6.19 inches on the W10, 6.26 inches on the W30 and 6.21 inches on the Pro. All three variants will be fuelled by a large 4000mAh battery, which is probably where these phones will shine in the budget seeker segment. The LG W10 and W30 will retail for ₹8999 and ₹9999 respectively, while the W30 Pro is yet to get its price tag.
