At just ₹11,999, is the Redmi Note 9 the budget banger we’ve been waiting for?

The naughty Note is back

The beloved Note series gets to the point with its banger price but what does it pack for cash? For starters, the brains of it all is powered by a MediaTek Helio G85 with promises of better gaming performance. It supports 22.5W fast charging, although we assume you won’t be visiting the plug point any time soon thanks to its massive 5020mAh battery. At 6.53in, you better have massive hands but even if the FullHD+ display slips out, it’s protected by Gorilla Glass 5. The camera glass too, is warranted by Gorilla protection to keep away scratches. The camera setup at the back consists of a 48MP primary camera with 8MP ultra-wide, 2MP macro and 2MP depth sensor. Meanwhile in the front you get a 13MP AI selfie snapper. Your regular Xiaomi quirks are also here like a headphone jack, an IR blaster and now with BT 5.0 too. It comes in three variants. 4GB + 64GB is for ₹11,999, 4GB +  128GB is for ₹13,499 and 6GB + 128GB is for ₹14,999. It’ll be available on Amazon India, Mi website and stores starting 24th July.
