Most of us appreciate Germany for giving us Oktoberfest, some yummy sausages and of course, beer. Meaty treats aside, there’s also stuff that makes German products strictly... German. And this mainly down to their emphasis on engineering and accuracy. German audio specialist Sennheiser is also strictly German, and it has just introduced in India its newest IE 300 earphones, that aims to get you an audio experience that’s close to the real thing. Of course, this also means that it’s meant more for audiophiles than the casual consumer. But there’s no harm in investing ₹29,990 if you are inquisitive to know what your music actually sounds like. These wired earphones come with a detachable 3.5 mm cable and German-made 7 mm Extra Wide Band (XWB) transducers (made in Germany), which Sennheiser claims delivers superior sound quality. Given the high price tag, they may not look fancy, but they sure seem serious about audio quality.
