Microsoft’s pricing history with products in India has always been suspiciously expensive. Almost to an extend where it was impossible to recommend the previous-gen Xbox to folks waiting for pure 4K gaming. Just hours after the Xbox Series X and S prices got leaked, Xbox confirmed the official prices and now we’re also getting our Indian pricing months in advance. The Xbox Series X is priced at ₹49,990 and the Series S is priced at ₹34,990. Both pricier than their international announcements. We still have no clue what the PS5 will be priced at so let’s hope that will spare us the wallet-heartbreak. For the features though, Xbox is stacking up some serious respect. It recently announced that EA Play (formerly known as EA Access) will be free with no additional costs with your Xbox Game Pass Ultimate for PC and Xbox users. This is probably the best subscription combo anyone could ask for and we think that even with the high retail price of the Xbox, users might find solace in the Netflix-like subscription model offered by Xbox. Pre-orders for Xbox Series X and Series S will begin on September 22 at 9 am in India. Available on Amazon, Flipkart, and Reliance Digital’s online store.
