If Bentley's Bentayga spells luxury and Lamborghini’s Urus spells performance, Audi’s all-new Q8 SUV spells beefy. It’s bigger, broader than the Q7 and appears to have ambitions to take on Lambo’s older, yet beefier LM002. Priced from ₹1.33 crore, the Audi Q8 gets you all the performance you will ever need, all the off-roading you would ever want, and all the luxury you would never think of, all in one car. Aside from the modern and aggressive design cues, this Audi aims to be a luxury coupe and more than capable SUV with its 3.0 litre engine that generates 340 ponies and 500nm of torque. Like every Audi, it’s also smart. The 48V mild hybrid gives this beast a boost during initial acceleration and will even charge up when braking. The cabin is focussed on the driver and features a wraparound design. There's a button-less MMI navigation system (2 x10.1" screens + an 8.6" screen) that responds to touch and also feature haptic and acoustic feedback. Also included is the Audi phone box and a wireless charging system. Moving to creature comforts, there are contoured seats and a massaging system to keep your derriere intact on those long drives. And last, but definitely not the least, is a 23-speaker 3D surround sound system (1920 watts) by B&O to complete the package. Indeed this premium performance SUV really does not need a road and will take you down the path less travelled.
