Riding hot on the heels of the award-winning WH-1000XM3, the WI-1000XM2 prize the same generation noise cancelling treatment as their third gen over-the-ear brethren. All shrunk down to fit inside your ear canals, these come with Sony’s QN1 processor for shushing business. The ambient sound control will let you flip between ANC and ambient sound at whim and with ease. The flexible silicone neckband will rest comfortably on your neck providing 10 hours of playback time, and if you run out of juice, a mere 10 minutes of charge can pump out 80mins of music. There’s a Quick Charge feature to sort out any battery anxiety too. It comes with a proper traveller’s prescription as well. A hard case and an in-flight adaptor for all transit necessities and an AUX cable for headphone jack survivors, to use with a Nintendo Switch maybe? No matter the situation, the WI-1000XM2 seem to have you covered, literally. So there are four silicone and four comply foam-like tips in the box. And if you’re rocking the latest smartphone, the headphones support Bluetooth 5.0, Alexa and Google AI. All boxes checked, eh? We’re currently reviewing these so check back soon for the full review.
