How much is too much? Ask Asus, and they will tell you that the sky's the limit. That’s cos the new ROG 5 screams gaming like no other smartphone. It’s got the usual Snapdragon 888 with 8/12 GB of RAM and128/256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The OLED display now has thinner bezels, is made by Samsung and features a 144 Hz refresh rate with a mind-numbing 300 Hz touch sampling rate that will make that CODM kill that much easier. The phone may look a bit similar from the outside, but is built from scratch from the inside. This includes a new layout for the 3D vapour chamber cooling tech and also a split battery system that gets you a 100% charge in 51 minutes. With the new AeroActive Cooler, you can now get up to 6 physical triggers on the phone. And if all of that wasn’t enough, Asus also went with a ROG Vision rear matrix display for the Pro and Ultimate models because who needs RGB lights, when you can have a second display at the back! The ROG Phone 5 Pro (Rs 69,999) and an ROG Phone 5 Ultimate (Rs 79,999) feature more Air Triggers and up to 16/18 GB of RAM. For now, only the ROG Phone 5 goes on sale in India on the 15th of April and is priced from Rs 49,999 onwards.
