Finally! Yes, folks, Google Play Music is here in India. They sure took their own sweet time in deciding, but hey, better late than never. It’ll cost you just ₹89 a month (introductory offer for those who sign up in the next 45 days) and there’s even a 14-day free trial to help you make up your mind (not that you’d really need to, if we’re being honest). Google’s library is also pretty comprehensive - ‘40 million unique local and international hits’ is what they say. There’s also plenty of stuff from all over the world - metal, rock, pop… and India (in regional languages as well) and you can even download music for offline listening. So what are ya waiting for? Head over to their website or get the apps (iOS / Android). Meanwhile, excuse us while we work on our air guitar skills.
