The best new TV shows and movies to stream in March 2026

Our picks for the best new films and TV series coming to streaming services in March 2026

What to stream in March 2026: Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man
Cillian Murphy returns as Tommy Shelby in Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man on Netflix

We’re marching on into the third month of 2026, and if you’re subscribing to a streaming service, there’s plenty to get excited about. Perhaps the highlight of this month’s home streaming debuts is Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man, a feature-length film that brings an end to the Tommy Shelby saga, and brings back Cillian Murphy alongside new characters played by Rebecca Ferguson and Barry Keoghan.

But even if you’re not a fan of lethal-hatted Brummie gangsters, there’s lots to look forward to. Here’s our shortlist of streaming debuts and returns for March 2026.

Young Sherlock

Think Guy Ritchie’s Sherlock Holmes flicks would have had Arthur Conan Doyle spinning in his grave like a Victorian washer-dryer? Then you’ll probably want to avoid this spin-off prequel, following the adventures of a wisecracking, flirtatious and headstrong Holmes (Hero Fiennes Tiffin) through his college years at Oxford. In its defence, Young Sherlock is an adaptation of Andrew Lane’s Y.A. novel series rather than something straight out of Ritchie’s brain, and features an excellent ensemble cast including Joseph Fiennes, Colin Firth and Natascha McElhone.

S1 / Prime Video, 4 March

One Piece

It might look like an AI-generated mashup of Pirates of the Caribbean and LazyTown, but this candy-coloured live-action manga adaptation has wowed audiences and critics alike with its fantastical world-building, faithfulness to the source material and accessibility to new viewers. The reception’s been so positive that season three is already in production.

S2 / Netflix, 10 March

Scarpetta

Following two failed attempts with first Demi Moore and then Angelina Jolie attached, Patricia Cornwell’s Kay Scarpetta novels are finally coming to the screen. Nicole Kidman stars as the forensic pathologist, returning to her hometown to investigate a gruesome murder – and navigate her difficult relationship with sister Dorothy (Jamie Lee Curtis).

S1 / Prime Video, 11 March

The Madison

Taylor Sheridan’s Yellowstone-verse gallops on with yet another spin-off, in which Michelle Pfeiffer and Kurt Russell’s Clyburn clan flee Manhattan for Montana following a devastating tragedy. Sheridan promises his “most intimate work to date” – which is saying something given the sheer scale of his sprawling TV empire. Already renewed for a second season.

S1 / Paramount+, 14 March

Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man

Cillian Murphy returns as Tommy Shelby for one last tussle. This WWII-set film drags the gangster from self-imposed exile back to bomb-ravaged Birmingham. Creator Steven Knight promises “full-on Peaky Blinders at war,” with Rebecca Ferguson and Barry Keoghan joining Murphy to provide a suitably violent send-off for the razor-capped legend.

Film / Netflix, 20 March

Bait

Riz Ahmed gets deliciously meta as an unknown London actor whose life is flipped upside-down following speculation that he’s been cast as the next James Bond. As his family, ex and the tabloids weigh in on his suitability for the role, his insecurities begin to spiral out of control. Guz Khan and Weruche Opia also star in this six-part comedy series.

S1 / Prime Video, 25 March
