Everybody loves a surprise: a surprise party, or visit from a loved one, or a knock on the door at 3am from police officers. OK, maybe not the last one.
And the good news is, the Mio Cyclo 505 bike-nav can give you that same unexpected joy.
Mio’s unique ‘Surprise Me’ feature can generate a random loop, based on a time or distance chosen by you. Will it take you past that beautiful lake you didn’t know was there? Or through the estate where there was that shooting last week?
We’re being silly, of course. With a choice of full UK or European mapping, you’re well backed-up for both finding your way and choosing a new route if the original is a little too suprising. You can navigate to postcodes, addresses, POIs and points on the map, and it’ll also track your speed and distance. Get the 505 HC version and it’ll also record your heart rate, cadence and wheel speed. All of this data can be quickly accessed using the colour capacitive touchscreen, and uploaded to your online MioShare account via the built-in Wi-Fi. What a nice surprise.
