Paul Smith Vintage Stripe iPhone 5s case (£50)
Paul Smith's been slapping his stripes across British menswear designs since the 70s. Now you can wrap your iPhone up in his iconic colours, too, with this vintage-effect leather case. Android owners needn't feel left out; there's a version available for the Samsung Galaxy S4, too.
Corgi Best of British New Bus for London (£9)
Whether you think it's a visionary project for modern London or a grandiose vanity project, there's no denying that the New Bus for London turns heads. Now you can adorn your desk with the Thomas Heatherwick design in miniature form, with this perfectly-proportioned Corgi model. And it's emblazoned with a Best of British banner, too. How appropriate.
NudeAudio Move M (£35)
Tom Dudderidge, the British founder of Gear4, decamped to San Francisco to create his latest speaker company – and the fruit of their labours is this: a chunky portable Bluetooth speaker. It's built big for a reason: because it's larger than other mono speakers in its price range, it purports to deliver better bass. It's still plenty portable, mind – and splash-proof, should you want to while away the hours down by the river with some tunes.
Plumen 001 and Drop Cap Set
A lightbulb that you won't want to hide away behind a shade, the Plumen 001 is a gorgeous tangle of fluorescent tubes that uses 80% less energy than an incandescent bulb. So you can save the planet and look good doing it. This set comes with a drop cap lighting pendant that's designed to cover up the connector and showcase the bulb in all its glory; you can buy the bulb on its own from Plumen's shop.
