Twittwe has bought TweetDeck, the 2008 creation of programmer Ian Dodd. The program was designed to organise everything happening on Twitter using real-time feeds. It has proved a great way for users to feel popular with multiple columns displaying the likes of direct messages, @chat and news feeds. The software draws in so much information it has given companies the world over a feeling of Lex-Luthor-like power sitting at the heart of a trending world. Except with less murderous intentions, we hope.
