Toshiba D-VR15 review

Toshiba’s D-VR15 gets you ready for the future whilst nodding respectfully to the past – time to archive those VCRs and embrace DVDs

If you want a VCR and DVD recorder and have a fetish for DVD-RAM, you’re not a alone; Toshiba’s catering for your sorts’ needs with the D-VR15.

If you’ve got a garage full of old tapes but not the heart to chuck ‘em, you can archive them to DVD with ease with this Tosh. At the same time you’ll be upgrading yourself to the digital recording age, which is nice. Plus you’ll get high-quality copies – DVD-RAM included – from a top-drawer TV picture.

Pretty it ain’t; effective it is. This is fine future technology with a pleasantly respectful nod to the past.
