Anything Garmin's nuvi 670 can do, TomTom can do better. It's trumped its rival's European and North American mapping with what TomTom claims is the 'most complete' set of maps for Canada, the USA and our fair continent.
As the flagship model it also comes loaded with TMC traffic updates, Bluetooth, an FM transmitter for voice instructions and music playing, and TomTom's nifty Map Share software for on-the-fly map editing and map update downloads.
It also gets a handy remote control – so no need to waste precious calories reaching out towards the windscreen to caress the 4.3in touchscreen anymore.
Other new touches include options to pass on your location via SMS and change your position arrow to something more fitting – a 4x4 monster truck perhaps? It'll be out later this year alongside a revamped ONE model with added Map Share. Our sat-nav cup overfloweth.
