THE FIRST ISSUE OF STUFF MAGAZINE'S iPAD EDITION

The fully-interactive Stuff iPad edition is available to download from the app store or via Newsstand now. If you have any issues, the answer may be in the frequently asked questions page.

This is a month of firsts for Stuff. Firstly, it marks our very first iPad edition – a gorgeous digital facsimile of the corporeal mag that allows you to swipe, pinch, spin and watch your way through our features and tests. Keep your eyes on Apple’s Newsstand to snap it up as soon as it lands.

Our second first is the inclusion of augmented reality goodies. By scanning pages with AR logos with your smartphone you’ll get hands-on videos, brilliant behind the scenes extras and a hidden extra for you to find. That ties in neatly with our Easter eggs feature, all about the messages and freebies that developers and geeky designers have smuggled into gadgets, games and media over the years.

Choosing the right smartphone is no easy task, so we’ve rounded up the 20 best in the world right now, whether you want power, a projector, a 41-megapixel camera or a phone that thinks it’s a tablet.

The May issue of Stuff was brought to you by: Nokia’s 41MP PureView camera phone, an Elipson speaker that looks like a fancy urinal, Kevin Smith, Windows 8, Star Wars, some blinding sunglasses, Toshiba’s skinny AT200 tablet and the world’s best TV streamers.

The fully-interactive Stuff iPad edition is available to download from the app store or via Newsstand now.
