Office Cat sniffs out the Asus Qube, Samsung Galaxy Pocket Neo and BlackBerry 10.1 in today's news round-up

Asus Qube Google TV box launches in April

Smarten up your tellybox with the Asus Qube – the boxiest of set-top boxes is set to arrive on 23rd April, having missed its planned Q1 2013 release date. The Google TV box packs in an ARMADA 1500 processor, 1GB of RAM, 4GB of storage along with two USB ports and the obligatory HDMI port – plus a motion sensitive remote. It'll set you back US$130 and comes with 50GB of cloud storage from Asus WebStorage for free.

Samsung Galaxy Pocket Neo hits UK in May

If the giant-size Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 or Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 (yes, it's technically a phone) are too substantial for your dinky digits, the Samsung Galaxy Pocket Neo is coming to the UK in May. Downsizing means taking a pretty substantial hit in specs, though – it features a 3in QVGA display, 850MHz processor, 2MP camera and 4GB of internal storage, with support for microSD cards up to 32GB.

Office Cat likes the radio stations in Grand Theft Auto so much that sometimes he'll fire up Liberty City, pinch a car and just pull over to the side of the road to listen to the tunes. Happily, Rockstar Games has now compiled iTunes and Spotify playlists featuring most (but not all) of the tracks found on the various GTA games – head on over to the official site for links. Office Cat is off to dial up some smooth jazz and plough through some pedestrians.

BlackBerry 10.1 update coming with Q10

BlackBerry's comeback bid continues apace, with the QWERTY-based BlackBerry Q10 set to launch alongside the first major update to the BB10 OS. Along with optimisation for the Q10's hardware keyboard, BlackBerry 10.1 is set to boost performance and add an HDR shooting mode for low-light snaps, along with a rumoured update to BlackBerry Link that'll let you access your PC from afar.
