The TX1 is the definition of wafer thin, and one of Sony’s sleekest efforts yet. The keyboard comes with dedicated DVD player buttons, while the dinky battery can pump out power for up to five hours.
The Sony is amazing looking, incredibly portable, and surprisingly unfiddly for such a small machine. But, with style winning over substance, it’s still a bit of a luxury buy. The processor is little more than adequate, but the screen is crisp and generates superbly vibrant colours.
At 1.25kg, this is easy to cart about, and it looks so good you’ll want to take it everywhere you go. But it only has 60GB HD storage which, for the price, is not as handy as some of its competitors.
