Firefox OS is heading to Sony mobiles, with Sony Deputy Chief Executive Officer Bob Ishida revealing that its mobile engineers are planning to bring a mystery product featuring Mozilla's Firefox OS to us all in 2014.
Sony has also sealed a deal with Spanish provider Telefonica to investigate emerging technologies like Mozilla's new OS so that Sony can reach a wider consumer bace.
Cookie-cutter business talk aside, it's good to see that there'll be more flavours of smartphones to choose from, especially with Ubuntu OS on the horizon as well.
