Sony Walkman A845 announced – thinnest Walkman yet

Not content with announcing a new entry level DSLR, Sony has also pulled the covers off its slimmest ever Walkman, the A845.Measuring in at 7.2mm thic

Measuring in at 7.2mm thick and weighing 62 grams, you can expect a 2.8-inch OLED screen, 16GB storage and up to 29 hours of audio playback or 9 hours of video.

However, if the 2.8-inch screen isn't big enough for your movie marathon sesh, hook it up to your TV with the optional A/V out cable for your films on a bigger screen, albeit in standard def.

The skinny PMP will support a wide range of file types including WMA, WMV and MP3s, which can all be imported quickly by either dragging and dropping from your PC, or via iTunes using the included software.

The Walkman A845, complete with supplied noise-cancelling headphones, is set to hit shelves from February 2010. Pricing is yet to be announced.
