It looks like Google's Ice Cream Sandwich is on the menu for Sony Ericsson's Xperia range, with the phone manufacturer getting the official 4.0 nod of approval for its 2011 portfolio. This includes the eye-catching Xperia Arc and equally desirable Arc S, Neo, Neo V and the PlayStation-certified Xperia Play. Even its Live with Walkman music phone, which sits at the lower end of the smartphone spectrum, is getting the tasty Android OS update.
With regards to the update arrival time, details are a little on the fuzzy side. All we can tell you is the entire Xperia lineup will be updated to Ice Cream Sandwich some time in the near future, with Sony Ericsson taking a tight-lipped stance on the whole thing. The minute we get full details on the ICS Xperia release and its availability, you'll be the first to know. Promise
