Pop your pot down and it'll work out where it is, and heat directly beneath it. A touchscreen display shows you which bits of the surface are in use, and lets you change the temperature. You can even move your pans around and it'll track their new position, adjusting the heat to suit.</p> <div class="field field-type-text field-field-legacy-url"> <div class="field-label">Legacy URL:&nbsp;</div> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> /news/cameras/news-nugget/siemens-induction-cooktop-lets-you-plonk-pans-where-you-please </div> </div> </div> <p><a href="http://www.stuff.tv/siemens/siemens-induction-cooktop-lets-you-plonk-pans-where-you-please/news" target="_blank">read more</a></p> http://www.stuff.tv/siemens/siemens-induction-cooktop-lets-you-plonk-pans-where-you-please/news#comments Siemens Fri, 20 Apr 2012 12:30:09 +0000 Luke Edwards 420848 at http://www.stuff.tv Siemens Porsche Design TK911N2GB http://www.stuff.tv/siemens/siemens-porsche-design-tk911n2gb/review <div class="field field-type-text field-field-standfirst"> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> Designed by Porsche and fitted with motion sensors, this Nespresso maker is an example of German over-engineering at its best </div> </div> </div> <div class="field field-type-number-integer field-field-enable-hero"> <div class="field-label">Enable hero:&nbsp;</div> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> Enable full width image </div> </div> </div> <div class="field field-type-filefield field-field-main-image"> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> <img class="imagefield imagefield-field_main_image" width="239" height="340" alt="" src="http://images.cdn.stuff.tv/sites/stuff.tv/files/images/news/SIEMENSPorsche--TK911N2_0.jpg?1364299972" /> </div> </div> </div> <p>Siemens’ entire range of stainless steel coffee machines wouldn’t look out of place in the Design Museum, but its motion-sensitive TK911 Nespresso maker takes the brushed aluminium biscuit.</p> <p>With Porsche Design taking care of the styling, the TK911 was always going to be a masterclass in engineering – and with an automatic door that glides open when your hand approaches, it’s hard not to be impressed.</p> <p><strong>High design</strong></p> <fieldset class="fieldgroup group-pricing"><legend>Pricing</legend><div class="field field-type-number-float field-field-test-price"> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> £700.00 </div> </div> </div> </fieldset> <fieldset class="fieldgroup group-ratings"><legend>Ratings</legend><div class="field field-type-hcmreviewrating-rating field-field-overall-rating"> <div class="field-label">Overall rating:&nbsp;</div> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> <div class="hcmrating-default">8 stars</div> </div> </div> </div> </fieldset> <fieldset class="content-multigroup-group-sections"><legend>Review Section</legend><fieldset class="content-multigroup-wrapper content-multigroup-0"><div class="field field-type-hcmvideofield-video field-field-brightcove-video"> <div class="field-label">Video ID/URL:&nbsp;</div> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> <div class="messages warning">This video is not currently supported.</div> </div> </div> </div> </fieldset> </fieldset> <div class="field field-type-text field-field-verdict"> <div class="field-label">Verdict:&nbsp;</div> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> <p>Not for coffee obsessives as it takes pods rather than the raw bean, but it’s hard to find a sexier kitchen gadget</p> </div> </div> </div> <div class="field field-type-text field-field-legacy-url"> <div class="field-label">Legacy URL:&nbsp;</div> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> /review/siemens-porsche-design-tk911n2gb </div> </div> </div> <p><a href="http://www.stuff.tv/siemens/siemens-porsche-design-tk911n2gb/review" target="_blank">read more</a></p> http://www.stuff.tv/siemens/siemens-porsche-design-tk911n2gb/review#comments Home Porsche Design TK911N2GB Siemens Mon, 25 Feb 2008 06:00:00 +0000 Simon Osborne-Walker 9693 at http://www.stuff.tv Siemens Gigaset E455 SIM http://www.stuff.tv/siemens/siemens-gigaset-e455-sim/review <div class="field field-type-text field-field-standfirst"> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> Siemens has created a stylish, effective home phone that thinks it’s a mobile.
