We might not have produced a World Cup-winning football team or a Miss Universe yet, but here is some local talent that we can be proud of, shutterbug style. Out of 140,000 entries from 166 countries, these Singaporeans were celebrated at Sony World Photography Awards - a massive annual photography throwdown.
The Singaporean entries were also considered for the National Awards, where a panel of the country's local photography experts picked out the best image from the ten Open categories. And Singapore, these are your top three.
