14 awe-inspiring shots by Singaporeans

These local entries to the 2014 Sony World Photography Awards have put the little red dot on the world snapper map

We might not have produced a World Cup-winning football team or a Miss Universe yet, but here is some local talent that we can be proud of, shutterbug style. Out of 140,000 entries from 166 countries, these Singaporeans were celebrated at Sony World Photography Awards - a massive annual photography throwdown.
