You&#39;ll still get a few creaks and a bit of flex if you twist it hard enough but resist the urge to do that and it&rsquo;s every bit as sturdy as it needs to be.</p> <p>It&rsquo;s also incredibly comfortable to hold in the hands, thanks to its 6.6mm thin body and featherlight weight, while the back offers reassuring grip without feeling rubbery. Purists will find the default colours over-saturated, but change the display settings to Basic and they become far more realistic while still remaining eye-wateringly punchy.</p> <p><iframe frameborder="0" height="396" scrolling="no" src="http://gfycat.com/iframe/GiddyActualFoxhound" width="660"></iframe></p> <p>It can also automatically adjust to environmental lighting conditions, tweaking its white balance as necessary for the ambient light. Well almost.</p> <p>The tablet app selection on Apple&rsquo;s App store is still far superior to the offerings on the Play Store.</p> <p>Performance niggles also spoil things a bit, although thankfully gaming isn&#39;t affected. If Samsung irons those out in future iterations, continues to trim down its UI, and throws everything into a metal body, then it could very well have an iPad Air-killer on its hands.</p> <p>If you&#39;re looking for a large Android tablet right now, though, then there&#39;s no better option. Our only niggle? The front is seriously reflective. For a smartphone camera, the Z2 can take incredible photos with its 1/2.5in, 20.7MP sensor and speedy autofocus. It also flies in use: these three phones share the same 2.3GHz Snapdragon 801 processor but the Sony&rsquo;s 3GB of RAM bests its rivals.&nbsp;Small apps in overlaid windows lag occasionally, but it&rsquo;s still a great use of that 5.2in screen, and the Android skin is mostly clutter-free. </p> <p>With a bigger screen, there&rsquo;s a bigger 3200mAh battery and the Z2 reliably lasts the day - with Stamina mode to conserve juice when the screen&rsquo;s off. </p> <p>Overall, this is the connoisseur&rsquo;s choice, capable of taking brilliant photos and playing cinephile video. But if you have the time to show Sony some love, it will return it in large dollops.</p> <p><strong>READ MORE: <a href="http://www.stuff.tv/sg/sony/sony-xperia-z2-sirius/review">Sony Xperia Z2 - the full review</a></strong></p> </div> </div> </div> <div class="field field-type-filefield field-field-image"> <div class="field-label">Image #1:&nbsp;</div> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> <img class="imagefield imagefield-field_image" width="1889" height="1417" title="The Xperia Z2 makes almost no compromises" alt="Which smartphone? Although the Z2&rsquo;s a heavy smartphone, this isn&rsquo;t the problem - the HTC weighs just as much. The issue is more that the Z2&rsquo;s toughened glass build would work better scaled down. When you&rsquo;re dealing with a 5.2in diagonal span of glass, ergonomics count (we&rsquo;re hoping the Z2 Compact gets this right).</p> <p>Another smartphone best picked up and fondled before you decide, then. If its shape and minimalist design work for you, you can get back to appreciating everything the Sony does brilliantly. Such as being waterproof: with all the port flaps closed, the Z2 has the same IP55/IP58 water-resistance as the Z1. Plus, the headphone jack is now flap-free.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Screen: 9/10</strong></p> <p>In almost every way the Z2&rsquo;s screen is a stunner. It displays fine detail better than both the S5 and the One M8, perfect for pressing your nose up against full HD movies. Viewing angles aren&rsquo;t the best but they&rsquo;re no longer a problem either.</p> <p><strong>Camera: 10/10</strong></p> <p>The Superior Auto mode doesn&rsquo;t always produce the best images &ndash; it can struggle to expose correctly in sunlight and it doesn&rsquo;t have the night vision of the HTC. But chances are, Sony owners won&rsquo;t mind digging into the comprehensive settings.</p> <p>Here it shines: faces come out well in low light, scenes look punchy and the background de-focus mode is mesmerising. Both 1080p and 4K footage are smooth thanks to SteadyShot stabilisation, though autofocus jumps around while filming and, with the Snapdragon heating up, the Z2 can abruptly stop shooting in the higher resolution.</p> <p><strong>OS and apps: 9/10</strong></p> <p>Sony&rsquo;s treatment of KitKat verges on bloatware, with pushy media services ruining the fun. For instance, an upward swipe to access Google Now also shows Sony&rsquo;s What&rsquo;s New app: a feature guaranteed to have zero fans.</p> <p><strong>READ MORE: <a href="http://www.stuff.tv/sg/sony/10-choice-apps-sony-xperia-z2/feature">10 of the best apps for the Sony Xperia Z2</a></strong></p> <p><strong>READ MORE:&nbsp;<a href="http://www.stuff.tv/sony/ultimate-setup-sony-xperia-z2/feature">The best cases, headphones and accessories for the Sony Xperia Z2</a></strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> </div> </div> </div> <div class="field field-type-filefield field-field-image"> <div class="field-label">Image #1:&nbsp;</div> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> <img class="imagefield imagefield-field_image" width="2400" height="1800" title="The Sony&#039;s ergonomics hold it back" alt="Which smartphone? Battery life is slightly better, bringing it on a par with its rivals &ndash; you shouldn&rsquo;t need the Ultra Power Saving Mode to last the day. But the UltraPixel camera stays. This might disappoint those looking to shoot serious images and footage, but for most, the low-light prowess and focusing tricks are good enough. Not only did it have to face the toughest smartphone competition ever, but it had to surpass its excellent predecessor, the G2, which reigned supreme at the top of Stuff&#39;s best smartphone list until the M8 came along.</p> <p>Thankfully, LG was more than up to the task. The G3 surpasses the G2 in almost every way. For starters, it&#39;s got a 2K display that&#39;s almost sharp enough to cut your eyes on. Sorry if you&#39;re squeamish.</p> <p>While the G2&#39;s 13MP camera remains, LG has thrown in laser-assisted autofocus and 4K video. And it now matches the Samsung with a removable battery and microSD slot.</p> <p>It doesn&#39;t have the booming dual front-facing speakers on the One M8, but its rear 1W speaker is no slouch, and can almost match its HTC rival for loudness, if not bass.</p> <p>While it lacks the Galaxy S5 and Xperia Z2&#39;s waterproof powers, its build is much improved, with a plastic, brushed-metal-look finish that will fool your eyes, if not your fingers.</p> <p>LG&#39;s redesigned its UI too, opting for less eye-searing colours and a more muted, subtle look.</p> <p><strong>READ MORE:&nbsp;<a href="http://www.stuff.tv/sg/g3/lg-g3/review" target="_blank">LG G3 - the full review</a></strong></p> </div> </div> </div> <div class="field field-type-filefield field-field-image"> <div class="field-label">Image #1:&nbsp;</div> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> <img class="imagefield imagefield-field_image" width="567" height="425" title="The G3 in the background appears smaller because it is further away" alt="Samsung Galaxy S5 vs HTC One (M8) vs Sony Xperia Z2 vs LG G3" src="http://images.cdn.stuff.tv/sites/stuff.tv/files/LG%20G3%20Main_0_0_4.jpg?1406596425" /> </div> </div> </div> <div class="field field-type-number-integer field-field-make-full-width"> <div class="field-label">Make full width:&nbsp;</div> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> Do not make full width </div> </div> </div> </fieldset> <fieldset class="content-multigroup-wrapper content-multigroup-8"><div class="field field-type-number-integer field-field-section-paginate"> <div class="field-label">Paginate on this section:&nbsp;</div> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> Don't paginate </div> </div> </div> <div class="field field-type-text field-field-title"> <div class="field-label">Title:&nbsp;</div> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> THE DETAIL </div> </div> </div> <div class="field field-type-text field-field-body"> <div class="field-label">Body:&nbsp;</div> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> <p><strong>Design: 9/10</strong><br />The G3&#39;s faux brushed-metal finish is barely discernible from the real metal rear of the HTC One (M8), and it easily beats the S5 for classiness. Pick it up, though, and its weight (or lack of it) can&#39;t fool your fingers. So it&#39;s no M8, but that doesn&#39;t mean it&#39;s not handsome in its own way.</p> <p><strong>Screen: 9/10&nbsp;</strong><br />The G3 stands out from the crowd, with a 2560 x 1600 2K screen. That&#39;s an insane 538 ppi, though you won&#39;t notice any difference in sharpness in normal use. Look closely enough however, and it does throw up more details than its rivals. Its colours are excellent too - even more realistic than those on the M8 - although brightness, black levels and contrast let it down somewhat. Overall though, it&#39;s one of the best screens our eyes have had the pleasure of ogling.</p> <p><strong>Camera: 10/10</strong><br />The G3&#39;s 13MP camera is, put simply, fantastic. It&#39;s a jack of all trades, and nearly a master of every one. Well-lit shots are packed with crisp detail, and it even beats the light-guzzling M8 in most murky conditions. Its advanced optical image stabilisation, coupled with its laser-assisted autofocus, help keep subjects in focus - and at lightning-quick speeds, too.</p> <p><strong>OS and apps: 9/10</strong><br />LG has thankfully gone down the same fat-trimming path as Samsung. While its UI still isn&#39;t as minimalist as the Z2&#39;s, the garish icons are gone, replaced with flat, pastel-coloured icons.</p> <p>Much of the bloatware is gone too, and LG&#39;s done its best to simplify things. The camera app for example, has had almost every little-used feature eliminated, and its bare controls now make for a much more pleasant experience.</p> <p>LG&#39;s new Smart Notice is less useful. It&#39;s essentially a Google Now clone, and we can&#39;t see any benefit it offers over Google&#39;s own well-established offering.&nbsp;Smart Clean is more useful, prompting you to clean up and delete apps to save memory.</p> <p>Finally, LG&#39;s excellent Knock Code feature negates the need for any fancy fingerprint scanners. Sorry, Samsung. It lets you tap out a pattern on the G3&#39;s screen (even when it&#39;s off),and with over 80,000 combinations, and a higher reliability than fingerprint scanning, LG&#39;s hit on a winner.</p> <p><strong>READ MORE:&nbsp;<a href="http://www.stuff.tv/sg/g3/7-best-apps-and-games-lg-g3/feature" target="_blank">7 of the best apps and games for the LG G3</a></strong></p> <p><strong>READ MORE:&nbsp;<a href="http://www.stuff.tv/sg/android/ultimate-setup-lg-g3/feature" target="_blank">Ultimate setup: LG G3</a></strong></p> </div> </div> </div> <div class="field field-type-filefield field-field-image"> <div class="field-label">Image #1:&nbsp;</div> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> <img class="imagefield imagefield-field_image" width="1200" height="900" title="All the colours of the (LG) rainbow" alt="Samsung Galaxy S5 vs HTC One (M8) vs Sony Xperia Z2 vs LG G3" src="http://images.cdn.stuff.tv/sites/stuff.tv/files/LG_G3_3_1.JPG?1406596425" /> </div> </div> </div> <div class="field field-type-number-integer field-field-make-full-width"> <div class="field-label">Make full width:&nbsp;</div> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> Do not make full width </div> </div> </div> </fieldset> <fieldset class="content-multigroup-wrapper content-multigroup-9"><div class="field field-type-number-integer field-field-section-paginate"> <div class="field-label">Paginate on this section:&nbsp;</div> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> Paginate </div> </div> </div> <div class="field field-type-text field-field-title"> <div class="field-label">Title:&nbsp;</div> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> The verdict </div> </div> </div> <div class="field field-type-text field-field-body"> <div class="field-label">Body:&nbsp;</div> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> <p>The LG G3 doesn&#39;t have the exquisite build of the HTC One M8, nor does it have the extra sensors of the S5. That&#39;s something of an understatement, so the fact that&nbsp;its successor will definitely arrive with a different look will be welcomed by many.</p> <p><a href="http://www.reuters.com/article/2014/04/16/us-samsung-elec-sales-idUSBREA3F09320140416" target="_blank">Speaking to Reuters</a>, Samsung&#39;s senior vice president of product strategy Yoon Han-Ki stated that the Note 4 would arrive with a &quot;new form factor&quot;. Quite what that will involve is open to speculation, but at the very least we&#39;d guess it will either mean a grippy, dimpled plastic back as seen on the <a href="http://www.stuff.tv/sg/galaxy-s5/samsung-galaxy-s5/review" target="_blank">Galaxy S5</a>, or a more premium metal build of the type we expect to see on the <a href="http://www.stuff.tv/sg/galaxy-s5/samsung-galaxy-s5-prime-2k-screen-its-way/news" target="_blank">Galaxy S5 Prime</a>.</p> <p>Either way, it&#39;ll hopefully signal the end of Samsung&#39;s brief dalliance with skeuomorphism.</p> <p>We&#39;d also expect the Note 4 to be fully dust- and water-proof. With seals over all of its sticky-in bits, the Galaxy S5 is waterproof to the IP67 standard, meaning it can survive a 1m dunking for up to 30 minutes. As long as Samsung can work out how to seal the slot where the Note 4&#39;s Stylus sits,&nbsp;there&#39;s really no reason why the tech wouldn&#39;t make its way to the bigger phone.</p> <p><strong>Update 21/07/14:</strong>&nbsp;According to&nbsp;<a href="http://www.stuff.tv/sg/samsung/samsung-making-super-duper-prime-edition-galaxy-note-4/news">reports from the Far East</a>, a metal-bodied Note 4 may indeed be on the way &ndash; but it could be a &quot;Prime&quot; premium edition of the phablet, with the &quot;normal&quot; Note 4 remaining mostly plastic. ET News says the Prime will feature magnesium, aluminium and stainless steel.</p> <p><strong>READ MORE: <a href="http://www.stuff.tv/sg/galaxy-s5/samsung-galaxy-s5/review" target="_blank">Samsung Galaxy S5 review</a></strong></p> </div> </div> </div> <div class="field field-type-hcmvideofield-video field-field-brightcove-video"> <div class="field-label">Video ID/URL:&nbsp;</div> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> <div class="messages warning">This video is not currently supported.</div> </div> </div> </div> <div class="field field-type-filefield field-field-image"> <div class="field-label">Image #1:&nbsp;</div> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> <img class="imagefield imagefield-field_image" width="1200" height="900" title="The Galaxy S5&#039;s dimpled back..." alt="Samsung Galaxy Note 4 review" src="http://images.cdn.stuff.tv/sites/stuff.tv/files/Samsung_Galaxy_S5_review_70_0_2.jpg?1406089405" /> </div> </div> </div> <div class="field field-type-filefield field-field-image-2"> <div class="field-label">Image #2:&nbsp;</div> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> <img class="imagefield imagefield-field_image_2" width="1200" height="900" title="...and the Note 3&#039;s fake-leather effect" alt="Samsung Galaxy Note 4 review" src="http://images.cdn.stuff.tv/sites/stuff.tv/files/DSCN3098_1_2.JPG?1406089405" /> </div> </div> </div> <div class="field field-type-number-integer field-field-make-full-width"> <div class="field-label">Make full width:&nbsp;</div> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> Do not make full width </div> </div> </div> </fieldset> <fieldset class="content-multigroup-wrapper content-multigroup-1"><div class="field field-type-number-integer field-field-section-paginate"> <div class="field-label">Paginate on this section:&nbsp;</div> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> Don't paginate </div> </div> </div> <div class="field field-type-text field-field-title"> <div class="field-label">Title:&nbsp;</div> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> SCREEN - twice as nice? </div> </div> </div> <div class="field field-type-text field-field-body"> <div class="field-label">Body:&nbsp;</div> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> <p>Here&#39;s where things get really interesting. There are already plenty of rumours doing the rounds about the Note 4&#39;s screen, and if they all come true we&#39;ll be looking at one very special display.</p> <p>Size-wise, we&#39;re expecting a modest jump from the Note 3&#39;s 5.7in to 5.8 or possibly 5.9in. Why? Well Samsung&#39;s upped the Note&#39;s screen size with each new version, from 5.3in on the original to 5.5in and then 5.7in. It&#39;s also done the same with its flagship &#39;S&#39; phones, from 4in to 4.3 to 4.8 to 5 and then to 5.1in on the S5. Leopards don&#39;t change their spots, so we&#39;d be amazed if the Note 4 didn&#39;t get a bigger display.</p> <p>More excitingly, it also looks like being Samsung&#39;s first 2K phone (assuming the <a href="http://www.stuff.tv/sg/galaxy-s5/samsung-galaxy-s5-prime-2k-screen-its-way/news" target="_blank">S5 Prime</a> doesn&#39;t arrive before it). At its Analyst Day conference last November, Samsung showed off a graph which indicated that it would launch a phone with a 2K screen - that&#39;s 2560 x 1440 pixels - sometime in 2014. With the S5 sticking with a 1080p display, the Note 4 looks a good bet for the upgrade. And with LG having now confirmed that the <a href="http://www.stuff.tv/sg/g3/lg-g3/review" target="_blank">LG G3</a> will itself feature a 2K display, there&#39;ll be pressure on Samsung to follow suit on one of its flagship devices.</p> <p><strong>Update 17/06/14:&nbsp;</strong>More evidence for a 2K screen has emerged, courtesy of Samsung&#39;s own<a href="http://wap.samsungmobile.com/uaprof/SM-N910A.xml" target="_blank">&nbsp;web profile</a>&nbsp;(spotted by&nbsp;<a href="http://www.sammobile.com/2014/06/15/samsung-galaxy-note-4-confirmed-to-have-5-7-inch-qhd-2560x1440-display/" target="_blank">Sam Mobile</a>) which lists a 2560 x 1400 screen for a device with an SM-N910A model number. Given that the&nbsp;Note 3 AT&amp;T variant is known as the SM-N900A, it&#39;s highly likely that this is the Note 4.</p> <p><strong>READ MORE: <a href="http://www.stuff.tv/sg/g3/lg-g3/review" target="_blank">LG G3 preview</a></strong></p> </div> </div> </div> <div class="field field-type-filefield field-field-image"> <div class="field-label">Image #1:&nbsp;</div> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> <img class="imagefield imagefield-field_image" width="804" height="603" title="LG shows off its 2K G3 screen" alt="Samsung Galaxy Note 4 review" src="http://images.cdn.stuff.tv/sites/stuff.tv/files/lg-g3-screen_0.jpg?1406089405" /> </div> </div> </div> <div class="field field-type-filefield field-field-image-2"> <div class="field-label">Image #2:&nbsp;</div> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> <img class="imagefield imagefield-field_image_2" width="461" height="346" title="Looking good" alt="Samsung Galaxy Note 4 review" src="http://images.cdn.stuff.tv/sites/stuff.tv/files/note-4-code_0.jpg?1406089405" /> </div> </div> </div> <div class="field field-type-number-integer field-field-make-full-width"> <div class="field-label">Make full width:&nbsp;</div> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> Do not make full width </div> </div> </div> </fieldset> <fieldset class="content-multigroup-wrapper content-multigroup-2"><div class="field field-type-number-integer field-field-section-paginate"> <div class="field-label">Paginate on this section:&nbsp;</div> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> Don't paginate </div> </div> </div> <div class="field field-type-text field-field-title"> <div class="field-label">Title:&nbsp;</div> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> SCREEN - 3 is the magic number? </div> </div> </div> <div class="field field-type-text field-field-body"> <div class="field-label">Body:&nbsp;</div> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> <p>The Note 4 could also arrive with - wait for it - a 3-sided display. Yes, really.</p> <p>Rumours have been rife that the handset could feature a flexible screen which curves round the side of the device. The side displays would be used to either provide information - ticker-style notifications, weather forecasts, &#39;song playing&#39; info etc - or to allow quick access to apps such as camera and instant messaging. The advantage would be that you could run a full app on the main display - a game or film, say - but easily see notifications without having to exit the app.</p> <p>Sounds incredible, but the tech all exists. Samsung showed off a flexible &#39;Youm&#39; screen at CES 2013, and has also demonstrated curved tech in the&nbsp;<a href="http://www.stuff.tv/sg/android/samsung-throws-curve-ball-samsung-galaxy-round/news" target="_blank">Samsung Galaxy Round</a>&nbsp;phone. A patent recently revealed by&nbsp;<a href="http://www.galaxyclub.nl/2014/04/samsung-patent-driezijdig-scherm-galaxy-note-4/" target="_blank">Galaxy Club</a>&nbsp;demonstrated just such a phone, and while there&#39;s no guarantee that it will become reality on the Note 4, we can always cross our fingers and hope.</p> <p>Plus, LG already has a premium device with a curved, flexible screen in the form of the&nbsp;<a href="http://www.stuff.tv/sg/g-flex/lg-g-flex/review" target="_blank">LG G Flex</a>. Samsung generally doesn&#39;t like to play second fiddle to LG, and how better to trump it than with a 3-sided Note 4?</p> <p><strong>Update 21/07/14:</strong>&nbsp;The aforementioned Note 4 Prime may boast a flexible display,&nbsp;<a href="http://www.stuff.tv/sg/samsung/samsung-making-super-duper-prime-edition-galaxy-note-4/news">says ET News</a>&nbsp;&ndash; the inference being that the normal Note 4 will stick with a flat, rigid screen.</p> <p><strong>READ MORE:&nbsp;<a href="http://www.stuff.tv/sg/why-it-s-time-get-pumped-about-flexible-screens/feature" target="_blank">Why it&#39;s time to get pumped about flexible screens</a></strong></p> </div> </div> </div> <div class="field field-type-filefield field-field-image"> <div class="field-label">Image #1:&nbsp;</div> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> <img class="imagefield imagefield-field_image" width="625" height="505" title="Could the Note 4 have a 3-sided screen?" alt="Samsung Galaxy Note 4 review" src="http://images.cdn.stuff.tv/sites/stuff.tv/files/galaxy-note-4-patent_0.jpg?1406089405" /> </div> </div> </div> <div class="field field-type-filefield field-field-image-2"> <div class="field-label">Image #2:&nbsp;</div> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> <img class="imagefield imagefield-field_image_2" width="1187" height="890" title="Samsung&#039;s Youm prototype has already shown off flexible screen tech" alt="Samsung Galaxy Note 4 review" src="http://images.cdn.stuff.tv/sites/stuff.tv/files/samsung-youm_0.jpg?1406089405" /> </div> </div> </div> <div class="field field-type-filefield field-field-image-3"> <div class="field-label">Image #3:&nbsp;</div> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> <img class="imagefield imagefield-field_image_3" width="1200" height="900" title="The LG G Flex and its curved display" alt="Samsung Galaxy Note 4 review" src="http://images.cdn.stuff.tv/sites/stuff.tv/files/LG-G-Flex-review-homescreen-2_2.png?1406089405" /> </div> </div> </div> <div class="field field-type-number-integer field-field-make-full-width"> <div class="field-label">Make full width:&nbsp;</div> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> Do not make full width </div> </div> </div> </fieldset> <fieldset class="content-multigroup-wrapper content-multigroup-3"><div class="field field-type-number-integer field-field-section-paginate"> <div class="field-label">Paginate on this section:&nbsp;</div> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> Don't paginate </div> </div> </div> <div class="field field-type-text field-field-title"> <div class="field-label">Title:&nbsp;</div> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> POWER - THE BEST YET? </div> </div> </div> <div class="field field-type-text field-field-body"> <div class="field-label">Body:&nbsp;</div> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> <p>Right now, your guess is as good as ours. Well maybe not quite as good as ours, but close. What we&#39;re trying to say is that beyond reasoned speculation, we don&#39;t know what the Note 4&#39;s innards will consist of.</p> <p>A report in <a href="http://www.koreatimes.co.kr/www/news/tech/2014/04/133_155024.html" target="_blank">The Korea Times</a> hinted that Samsung was considering kitting out the Note 4 with a 64-bit processor of the kind found in the iPhone 5s, and also that it might feature speedy LTE-A tech. Beyond that, zilch.&nbsp;</p> <p>What we can say is that the Note 4 will be a beast of a phone. The Note series has traditionally been Samsung&#39;s most powerful device, and in an interview with&nbsp;<a href="http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2014-01-09/samsung-plans-galaxy-s5-by-april-with-possible-eye-scan-security.html" target="_blank">Bloomberg</a>, Lee Young Hee, executive vice president of the company&rsquo;s mobile business, stated that the Note 4 would be &quot;targeting consumers who want more professional use and tend to be willing to pay more for handsets.&quot;</p> <p>We&#39;d expect either the Snapdragon 801 processor that you&#39;ll find in the Galaxy S5 or even the Snapdragon 805, 4GB of RAM (the Note 3 has 3GB) and hopefully a nice big battery. MicroSD storage is a given, to supplement the 16/32/64GB that we&#39;ll likely get within the device.</p> <p>In short, it&#39;ll be among the most powerful phones yet.</p> <p><strong>READ MORE: <a href="http://www.stuff.tv/sg/galaxy-s5/8-best-apps-samsung-galaxy-s5/feature" target="_blank">8 of the best apps for the Samsung Galaxy S5</a></strong></p> </div> </div> </div> <div class="field field-type-filefield field-field-image"> <div class="field-label">Image #1:&nbsp;</div> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> <img class="imagefield imagefield-field_image" width="1200" height="900" title="The Note 3&#039;s a beast. We&#39;d be very surprised if the Note 4 didn&#39;t get an upgrade to at least match the S5, but it&#39;s quite possible it&#39;ll surpass it.</p> <p>The <a href="http://www.stuff.tv/sg/galaxy-camera/samsung-galaxy-k-zoom-hands-review/feature" target="_blank">Galaxy K Zoom</a> - Samsung&#39;s new half-phone-half-zoom-lensed-camera - has a 20.7MP sensor, and it&#39;s not impossible that&#39;ll find its way into the Note 4.
