Should you queue up to collect your pre-ordered PS4 in Singapore? Absolutely

Besides first dibs on the PS4, you might get a PS Vita TV and 10-year PS Plus membership for free

Starting from next Thursday, 19th December, Sony’s PlayStation 4 (PS4) will be available in Singapore. And you should collect it as soon as possible.

Why? Free PS Vita TV, 10-year PlayStation Plus membership subscription and limited edition AAPE Tee and cushion. Only pre-orders taken at Sony stores or Sony Centres are eligible for this offer. The goodies are only available at the Wisma Atria Outdoor Atrium, starting from 2pm on 19th December.

Freebies for early birds

How do you get these awesome freebies? Just do the typical Singaporean thing, queue up, and hope you meet one of the following requirements:

  • The first two pre-order buyers will get the PS Vita TV.

    Update on 19th Decwe were notified by Sony Computer Entertainment that the 10-year PlayStation Plus membership was not offered to the first two pre-order buyers in the queue as stated in an earlier story. Instead, the first 30 pre-order collections (including the first and second buyer) gets a 1-year PlayStation Plus membership worth S$43.90
     

  • The next 30 buyers will receive a PS Vita TV worth $149.
     
  • After the PS Vita TV has been fully redeemed, the next 30 will receive a 10-year PlayStation Plus membership worth S$439  (based on S$43.90 per year) in total.
     
  • Lastly, the next 100 buyers will receive a limited edition AAPE Tee and cushion
