You’ll feel even more like a cybernetic badass in Deus Ex: Mankind Divided

Blazing new trailer shows how Adam Jensen's augmented skills have amplified

Really, really bad things happened in 2011’s excellent Deus Ex: Human Revolution: tech-augmented humans were turned into violent, bloodthirsty monsters, and it’s left augmented hero Adam Jensen to pick up the pieces.

That’s exactly what you’ll do in Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, the much-anticipated sequel finally due out on 23 August. Jensen is now working with Interpol in 2029 to track down a group of augmented terrorists, and the world is suffering from the events of the last game, casting the cybernetic humans out from society.

As we see in this blistering new trailer above, Jensen isn’t exactly laying down on the job – he’s got an array of new augmentations and weapons to help prevent another incident like before, and we see him put them all to great use while working to expose a broad international conspiracy.

It’s a great example of why Deus Ex: Human Revolution is one of our most anticipated games for the rest of 2016, and now we know a bit more about how you’ll be able to buy the game, as well.

A Day One Edition boxed copy will sell for £55 on Xbox One and PS4 and £40 on PC, and includes an extra game mission, a pack of bonus in-game items, a sampler of the soundtrack, and a digital art book, novella, and comic book. You can also buy the standard digital game for £50 on consoles and £40 on PC without the soundtrack and book bits.

Alternately, if you want a bunch of things with your game, the physical Collector’s Edition comes with the Day One Edition of the game, a special box, a 9in figurine of Jensen, a 48-page art book, and a steelbook case for the game itself. That’ll set you back £110 on consoles or £100 on PC.

And lastly, you can get the Digital Deluxe Edition of the game, which has the standard game and season pass of upcoming DLC, for £75 on consoles or £65 on PC. Curiously, the physical Collector’s Edition doesn’t have the season pass, so keep that in mind when fumbling through your wallet for the pre-order.
